I thought I should come and give an explanation for my absence for those of you who follow this blog. I came back from my break from blogging with all the best intentions, however things seem to have gone astray and one of the reasons for that is that I have been having trouble with my back. Now those of you who know me will be aware that I had some issues with my back a while ago, which after a few visits to a
physiotherapist who gave me exercises to do I seemed to have it under control. However recently (after my weeks away and being out of my regular schedules) I seem to have developed different issues with my back. I suspect sciatica as from what I have read online, advice seems to be to keep active and do gentle stretching exercises which I have been doing...however my every day activity still isn't what it normally is and I have been feeling a bit down about the whole situation. Those of you who know me know that I need to be in the right frame of mind to commit properly to a strict healthy eating and exercise regime. This is the main reason that I have been absent from the blog, I just haven't felt like doing it. I haven't been going mad food wise, but I haven't been sticking to what I feel I should be eating. So basically, rather than coming on here and declaring my failure to stick to the diet (again!) which I know would make me feel even more down I have simply been staying away.
Now this isn't me saying I have totally given up or that I won't be blogging again, it is simply a declaration that I don't know when I will feel like committing to every day blog posts again. I will however try and make sure that I at least post on a Friday, even if it is just to record the weigh in results (good or bad).
I hope you understand my reasons for this extended break. Once I have my back pain under some sort of control and can start to concentrate on the push to get healthier properly again I will return to the blog...but for now I make no promises about when I will be back with regular posts.
Sorry folks. xx
