Thursday 27th August - Day 94
Up at 8.00am (very reluctantly again – back still giving me
jip)
Clown head cake picked up today, the chap who came for it
seemed to like it and said he thought the young lady it was for would too
(despite being scared of clowns…whoops…lol).
10.45am – Two rashers of bacon, two boiled eggs, six cherry
tomatoes and three medium mushrooms.
2.15pm – Natural yoghurt, large banana and mixed seeds.
A plain scone with some butter and a little jam.
Knew I was going to be on my feet all afternoon baking so
took a couple of painkillers for my back and got busy.
Had a few off cuts with some buttercream whilst working.
9.00pm – Three and a half beef sausages, chips and beans
A small slice of bakewell tart (no icing) and a little
squirt of cream.
Rather up and down today…food went somewhat off the rails so
not hopeful for a good weigh in tomorrow.
Friday 28th August – Day 95
Up at 7.10am when woken by a phone call from Wickes. They
were supposed to deliver the stuff for my workshop extension after 12.30pm
today, but turned up 15mins after phoning. Oh well, at least I have everything
I need to get on with doing it now.
Weighed and it was not great, but at least I have gone down
after gaining the last few weeks. Down 2¼lbs…still a lot to lose before I get
back to what I was before the slacking off. I will get there though, and
beyond!
8.15am – Natural yoghurt, chopped banana and some oats
9.00am – Off to cleaning for three hours of dusting,
polishing and hoovering.
Got home and went out and did a bit of clearing and planning
in preparation for starting the extension tomorrow, with the help of
father-in-law.
2.00pm – One bacon sandwich (two slices best of both medium
bread and three rashers of bacon with a little tomato sauce).
Then a slice of toast, same bread, with butter and lemon
curd on top.
Later tonight I will be having…
8.00pm – Fish fingers, chips and beans
Then probably a slice of bakewell tart with a little squirty
cream.
Yes, I realise I am not doing great food wise and am sure I
won’t be totally sticking to the healthy eating over the bank holiday weekend
either. But I am still eating better than I have been those past few weeks when
things went astray, and will endeavour to do even better next week.
