Monday 16th September - Back on track!

Well, I have been very lax regarding both blogging, eating and exercise in the past week or two, so today I am getting back to it. I will be trying to cut out bread (cakes, biscuits and other flour based carbs) and potatoes certainly during the week anyway. I will be trying not to let things go too much at the weekends, though we have some trips away coming up which may prove a little more tricky to keep strictly on the straight and narrow...but where possible I will stick at it as I am pleased with how things have gone so far and want to really make more improvements to my health, weight and toning.
So, here we go!

Up at 8.00am

34 minutes on Wii Fit - 1 x basic steps, 4 x advanced steps, 3 x short jogs,
I also decided to re-do the crunch challenge and at the same time re-start the squat challenge, so today I did 50 squats and 20 crunches.

10.00am - Breakfast - 2 x bacon, 1 x egg, 2 x mushrooms and 2 x tomatoes.

Quick dip in the bath and then on with my accounts. I am determined to get my tax return for 2012/13 finished today, and get the rest of my 2013 accounts up to date.

2.30pm - Lunch - Pot of natural yoghurt mixed with a chopped banana, prunes and oats.
(It was actually a rather big bowl, but that is good as I don't want to start feeling hungry before supper time).

Hmm, well I guess having a bigger lunch didn't work as well as I hoped...or perhaps it is just that I have had a couple of weeks to get used to eating more often (and just more) as I got really hungry whilst preparing supper. I ended up eating a nectarine, 4 x grapes and a toasted wholemeal crust of bread with some butter on to keep me going until the supper was cooked.
Still feeling hungry now, but supper is in the oven and it should be ready in about 15mins!

Supper will be as follows...
7.15pm - Supper - A big plate of cottage pie with carrot, swede and parsnip mash instead of potato.

Right, my tax return did finally get done today...but I still have the months since year end (6th April) to tidy and sort out. I always say I will keep everything up to date once I have it sorted out, but never seem to manage more than a month of being good...fingers crossed I can manage to keep it under control for good once I have done it this time. But that is for tomorrow...time to eat...soon!
