Update from the weekend

Right so as you will have noticed I didn't post over the weekend, so here is a quick round up of my food intake for the past two days.

Saturday

Up at 8.30am

8.45am - A banana

We went out for a pub lunch...
12.45pm - Small steak & ale pie, some chips and peas (they do smaller portions at £5.95 for a two course meal...ideal for me)
Apple and blackberry crumble with custard

8.30pm - 2 x cheese and relish sandwiches on gluten free wholegrain bread
Half a big bag of crisps (shared one with Paul) and an orange

Sunday

Had lots to do in the morning, cleaning the chickens out and working on a new perch for them (they have two at the moment, but all seem to want to be on the same one...but there isn't room so at least one gets left alone). Did some washing and general sorting out...and before I knew it the afternoon was well and truly here and I realised I hadn't eaten yet.

3.00pm - Oven baked ribs with a tiny bit of barbecue sauce on, a small jacket potato, some mushrooms (cooked with a little garlic and butter) and home made coleslaw
Very filling and yummy!

9.30pm - A Nakd (thought they were called naked...lol) Fruit Bar
They are great for when I want something sweet...but all natural
(Ingredients:Dates 49%, Cashews 31%, Raisins 17%, Raspberries 3%, A hint of Natural Flavouring)

11.00pm - A bit late to have something to eat...but I just fancied something else so I had an Aero hot chocolate. (Not at all natural...but I had some left in the cupboard and it did the job.)

So all in all not too bad a weekend, though rather erratic especially on Sunday.
Back to more of a routine on Monday.
