It's cold!
Dressed and breakfast in the oven
8.30am - 2 x bacon, 1 x egg, 2 x cherry tomatoes and 2 x mushrooms
Headed off to Barry's in George, sun is shining...but when we get there and head to the garage it is cold.
Barry checked my clutch and it seems there is a little fluid leak which means the clutch is not depressing fully (hence the recent tendency for the gears to crunch occasionally...at least it isn't something I am doing), he is going to get that sorted for me. He welded up the small hole in the exhaust silencer box.
We went in for a cup of tea, and I had a pork and cranberry sauce sandwich (non wheat and gluten bread) which I had taken along.
Then back out to do some more work...cut away the rusty section around the front passenger door. However, partly due to us chatting so much, he decided that it might be best for me to leave George with him so he can get the work done over the next few days.
So he gave me a lift home and when we got home...it was still cold.
The rest of the afternoon I just felt cold and in need of comfort food...so I ended up eating some natural yoghurt with raspberries and oats (which I had made for my packed lunch), then two small wagon wheel biscuits, a packet of baked wheat crisps, a plain chocolate fairy cake (left over from the Thursday bake) and a sherbet lemon.
Now I am about to eat steak and ale pie with hash browns and baked beans.
I will also be snuggling under the furry throw as it is....still darn cold! I will be making a hot water bottle for tonight for sure. Hope you are keeping warmer than me!
See you tomorrow.
