Spent the morning tidying the kitchen, making a stew to put in the slow cooker and then engraved three glasses for an order.
3.20pm - 2 x bacon, 1 x egg, 3 x cherry tomatoes
5.30pm - Natural yoghurt with half a chopped banana, some raspberries, prunes and oats mixed in.
8.00pm - Lamb stew.
Then I had two chocolate éclairs. I had asked Paul to get something for me and he did, suggesting I eat one today and one tomorrow...well that didn't happen :-/
A little later I had two of the bite sized chocolate brownies that he had brought home for himself.
Watched a programme today which had two doctors (who also happened to be twin brothers), each went on an extreme diet...one high fat, one high sugar. The results seemed to show not surprisingly that neither was great for them...though it did throw up so interesting facts. In the end they seemed to decide that fat or sugar alone weren't the main problem to our waistlines and health...but rather processed foods that mix fat and sugar in almost equal amounts. This combination seems to flick a switch in our brains which makes it hard for us to resist them, and stops our brains from telling us we have had enough. So I guess me succumbing to both those éclairs was not that surprising really.
Anyway, it is weigh day tomorrow...I will let you know how it goes.
