Well, it was a car show day. I had my usual (bacon, egg, tomato and mushroom) breakfast at 8.45am, then set off at 9.15am for Thorne. We had been invited to show our cars at a 1940's gala in the towns park...alas due to the amount of rain we have had in the lead up to the show we had been moved to the car park of the timber yard next door. I wasn't large, but then not that many people turned up in the end...again due to weather I think...in the end there were about 12 cars there. We had been due to do our yearly judging for the various club cups, but as there were so few of us it has been postponed.
Anyway, all of this meant the day didn't go according to plan...I am sorry to report I was feeling a little down about the whole thing so I wandered around the stalls and discovered several selling cakes. Not wanting to show favouritism to one stall over another (most were for charity) I ended up bringing home several fairy cakes and the like. Anyway I decided I wasn't in the mood for confession yesterday so just didn't write the blog. Lets just move on shall we...
Today I was up at 9.00am
11.30am - 2 bacon, 1 egg, 4 cherry tomatoes and 2 mushrooms
I have had a few orders come in over the weekend, so today I made some badges, designed a bookmark for a regular customer using photos of her children and engraved a glass.
3.45pm - Natural yoghurt, banana and oats
Two peanuts M&M's and a red opal fruit (found in the cupboard from Paul's stash)
8.15pm - Two beef and caramelised red onion burgers, some skin on garlic wedges and oven baked veggies (red, green and orange peppers, onions and mushrooms).
Eight large grapes for afters.
