Back from holiday and back to the regime!

So we had a great week away. We did loads of stuff, did lots of walking (but also ate quite a lot so of course put on a few pounds whilst away), took some selfies and I even briefly joined the artillery at one point (at Elizabeth Castle...because Paul wouldn't volunteer...lol).
Here are some photos to bore you...;-)

 Us at The Devil's Hole

'The Devil' at Devil's Hole
(actually he is not in his hole which is further down the path at the cliff)

Me being a 'wormer' (using a tool called a worm to get out any left over paper from the previous gun powder charge) whilst at Elizabeth castle

Us at Gorey Pier before heading up to see Mont Orgueil castle

Us on our last day at Plemont Bay (feeling a little sad as it was nearly time to come home).

So now that the holiday is over it is time to get to work and try to get this weight moving in the right direction (which is away from me in case you hadn't realised by now...lol).

Up at 7.30am
Let the chickens out, fed and watered them...then checked out the polytunnel. Lots of tomatoes had ripened whilst we were away and quite a few were split this morning...so they went to the chickens who love them!

I ended up eating my breakfast at around 10.00am
Two boiled eggs, two white bread crusts (we had some left over from yesterday to use up...tomorrow I will be on the wheat/gluten free brown bread) with a bit of butter on, a multi vitamin and a large glass of water.

Did a load of washing and hung it out, did some washing up. So much washing to do from the holiday and I still have the suitcases to empty (well, you didn't expect the poor man to help did you? lol). Folded up a load of clean washing.

2.30pm - Three slices of bread made into one and a half sandwiches with some cheese and beef tomato on. Half a small melon from the poly tunnel (they are about the size of a large orange) and more water.

5.00pm - First opps of the new regime, Paul had a few Hobnob flapjacks in the cupboard...I knew they were there...I stole one and ate it. :-/ Oh well, no use crying over snaffled flapjack...onwards!

Update to come later tonight...
Right, well the rest of the day didn't go tooooo badly.
I ate a single hobnob biscuit whilst preparing dinner tonight (a sign that I had left it too late to eat as I had the nibbles).
Dinner - One think pork steak, a medium sized jacket potato with a small slice of cheese on it and some home made coleslaw.
For afters I had some home grown raspberries, natural yoghurt and oats.

Day one done...bring on tomorrow :-)
