First weigh day back at it...

Up at 7.40am

Weighed and I have lost 2lb since Monday, which goes to show that it perhaps I can indeed eat some naughty treats rather than have to cut them out completely and risk falling back of the healthy eating wagon completely. Of course one good result does not a solid conclusion make...so it will be interesting to see how future weigh ins go and I may need to adjust things if it doesn't work longer term.

So this morning I did the usual stuff, saw to the chickens and checked the poly tunnel plants. I planted five pepper plants that I was hoping someone else would give a home to but had no takers. Now that the sweetcorn is done and pulled up there is a bit of space for them, whether they will do much is another matter...but at least they have a chance now :-)

Tidied and pruned back the strawberries which had gone mad sending so many suckers out, I potted quite a few up but the rest where binned sadly as we really don't need that many. My plan is to have a shelf outside my workshop window with strawberries in a long planter, that way they can hang down and be protected by netting (so hopefully I will get more of then next year!).

I then potted up some other plants that needed doing, including a few of my 55p finds from the supermarket. :-)
Finally came in at around midday to get some lunch and had...
Several tomatoes, warm from the poly tunnel that I ate whilst heading in doors.
Natural yoghurt, banana, oats and some raspberries from the garden.

3.30pm - Two slices of brown bread (not gluten free today) with a serving spoon full of the beef stew from yesterday (there was only that amount left and I am so glad I didn't throw it away) with a thin slice of cheese. Sooooo tasty! :-)
Accompanied by about five freshly picked cherry tomatoes.

Will update later...:-)

Ok, so a lot later here is the update on food intake.
Around 7.45pm - A small piece of battered cod, some chips and half a small can of mushy peas.
An Almond Magnum for afters and a can of Pepsi Max.

That's it and I don't feel there will be any more eating tonight.
