Thursday 4th September

Ok, so confession time again. After finishing my blog last night I found half a small pot of double cream in the fridge which needed to be used up...so I weakened and made my self a hot chocolate with a few squares of dark chocolate, the cream and some semi skimmed milk. Yummy, though of course in an ideal world I wouldn't have had it. Still, I did have it...so let's move along...nothing to see here ;-)

Up at 7.40am
Dressed and out to see to the chickens by 8.00am
Fed them, watered them and picked up the poop (took longer as I didn't do it yesterday of course).

Came back in, to have some breakfast and start the Tesco online grocery order.
9.00am - Natural yoghurt, banana and oats.
Got the shopping order worked out, after phoning Ann to see what cakes she wants next week.

Went back out and walked the dog, then headed to the poly tunnel to give it some needed tender loving care as it has been a little neglected since my return from 'down South'. Spent a couple of hours trimming, weeding and watering...looks good again now.

Collected the eggs, 4 so far today.

2.00pm - A packet of Quavers (opps!)

2.45pm - Cooked and ate a three egg omelette with onion, pepper, tomato and some cheese.

Going to prepare a Beef, Guinness and mushroom stew this afternoon and leave in the oven to cook whilst I attempt to start work on my stock cupboard (aka wall cupboard in my bedroom which is really too small for all the stuff in it). If I don't return to finish this blog you know where to send the search party!

Ok, so didn't manage to get the stock room done...the afternoon just drifted away from me, but not before I ate some crisps and a couple of chews (Paul was supposed to have taken the left over sweeties from the summer fayre in to work, but forgot...hence them being at home for me to eat).
I also had a Dracula ice lolly.

So not a great afternoon food wise.
Didn't eat the stew and jacket potato until around 9.00pm...so I don't imagine that tomorrow's weigh in will be good. But hey ho, what's done is done...
