Baking Thursday, here again

Up at 7.30am
Made Paul's sandwiches and did some washing up.
8.30am - Breakfast - 2 x bacon, 1 x egg and 4 x cherry tomatoes

1.30pm - One crust of bread with a little butter and jam (really fancied it!) but then thought I'd better have something a bit more nutritious so had a pot of natural yoghurt with prunes and oats mixed in.

Finally off to do my baking...not sure why but no matter how early I start to get ready for baking I never actually start in the morning. Still one of the distractions this morning was talking to my lovely friend which is always a pleasure, but then I had to go to the shops as I realised I was out of cocoa powder for the chocolate cake...doh!  Anyway enough of my gum flapping...time to bake a dozen choc butterfly buns, a large chocolate cake, a Victoria sandwich, a Victoria sandwich covered in butter cream and a batch of chicken liver pate. Catch you later!

Well, the baking got done but the diet suffered for the rest of the day.
Various little tasters of the cake off cuts, buttercream and a whole chocolate bun (I always bake a couple of spares...must try and stop that as I don't really need to test them!).

Finished the cakes at 7.30pm then made supper.

8.15pm - Supper - Left over chicken Korma with brown rice.
Quarter of raspberry cheesecake for afters with some Pepsi Max.

Then later in the evening I had a small slice of a slightly failed victoria sandwich cake with buttercream and lemon curd in...oh, plus I had a few of the dark chocolate mint crisp sweets that Paul brought me home (can't blame him this time as I asked him to bring something home).

Healthy food is all I have on my order to arrive tomorrow...so once the bits left here are finished over the weekend it is back to the food and exercise regime. No more Pepsi (at least until my birthday when I might indulge in a glass)...no more snacking. I had made myself an estimated weight loss chart and for a while I was doing much better than expected...I am now catching up and if I don't knuckle down and get back with the programme I will lose my advantage altogether :-/
