Up at 9.50am
Yes, a late start which is the sort of part of the title...as I had meant to get an early start (I blame the dog for encouraging me to stay in the cosy place).
I did 25mins of my new Zumba dvd...which involved me trying to learn the steps. The question I have to ask myself is why I thought it was a good idea to buy a workout routine which involves dancing, what with me having two left feet and no sense of rhythm?? Some of the steps left me replying 'No, I haven't' to the instructors smiling statement 'You've got it!'.
Still, that said, although I know I didn't get all the steps right I did still feel like I had done myself some good and had a bit of a sweat even if I didn't quite 'feel the burn'. So I am definitely going to persevere...though I might use my Wii fit or weights as my main workout and do the Zumba as an additional activity, at least until I get the hang of it (if that ever happens). I do like dancing around to the radio, even if it doesn't look great...and if I am having fun that should make me keep at it.
10.45am - Breakfast -2 x bacon, 1 x egg and 4 x cherry tomatoes...washed down with 1 pint of water.
Quick dip in the bath.
Spent the morning doing some tidying and clearing my desk (I can actually see it now that it is clear of the piles of paper!).
3.00pm - Lunch - Wholemeal ham sandwich with gerkins, tomatoes and raw onion.
Prunes, natural yoghurt and oats for dessert.
8.00pm - Roast chicken breast, with a couple of roast potatoes, peas and sweetcorn.
Some chocolate sponge and banana with a dollop of clotted cream for afters.
