Wednesday...hoping to have a better food day

Up at 9.15am

Did 35 mins on the Wii fit...
4 x basic steps (no perfect scores again)
3 mins jogging
20 mins free steps medium/fast speed (2020 steps)

Dip in the bath as I had worked up quite a sweat with exercise today.

11.00am - Breakfast - Prunes, grapes, natural yoghurt and jumbo oats
I went for this breakfast mainly because I forgot to get the bacon out of the freezer again last night...but I have to say it was rather nice and very filling. The jumbo oats and addition of grapes meant I did a lot more chewing than my normal prunes, yoghurt and rolled oats combo...which I believe helps to make the body feel more full, plus it takes longer to eat which also allows the body time to feel full. Of course I will see if this is actually true by how long it takes me to feel hungry again ;-)

So tomorrow was not such a good day on the healthy food front, I am going to try and make today a better one. I am happy with the exercise, and will continue to try and ensure I get at least 30mins of dedicated exercise time each day. I could do with getting up earlier in the day...but that is not a priority for me at the moment as I can work to my own schedule, mornings have never been my best time of the day so I am not going to beat myself up too much about not getting up early if I can get the exercise and eating part of my regime under control. Earlier mornings can follow later if I feel the need to step up my production on the work side of life...but for now the aim is daily exercise, heathier eating and ensuring I drink enough water.

11.25am - Wash hair then get on with cleaning and tidying the kitchen ready for tomorrows baking.

Well, it got to 4.15pm and somehow I still hadn't managed to get the kitchen sorted out, so it looks like the accounts are out of the window for getting done today. Why is it when you decide to do a particular task that everything else that you could possibly do seems so much more interesting and important??

4.15pm - Two sandwiches with cheese, onion relish and beetroot, on granary bread.
One small (from a multipack) bag of ready salted crisps.

I have got car club tonight, though I am not really feeling like going...but I will go because otherwise it will be two meetings in a row I have missed :-/ I don't plan on staying there too long, but as long as I show my face, have a chat and catch up on any committee business I have missed it should be all good.

Dinner tonight will be
2 x thin pork steaks, parsnip chips, peas and sweetcorn
Small (1 inch x 1 inch finger) piece of birthday cake...it is all gone now, so no more temptation from that.

When I came back from the car club at around 10.30pm I succumbed to a lemon and berry torte (Paul had brought home a packet of two yesterday...and told me today that they were both for me!).

So food wise again not fantastic, but then still much better than over the weekend.
