Weigh day and not a great result today as I have put on 2lbs :-(
I think part of it was down to not drinking enough water yesterday, so maybe a little bit of water retention. Oh well, I won't get down hearted. I intend to get back into doing my exercises next week so hopefully I will get things back on track.
8.30am - 2 x bacon, 1 x egg and 4 cherry tomatoes
9.00am - Off to do my 3 hours cleaning work (that is sort of exercise...right).
1.00pm - Natural yoghurt, a banana, some raspberries and oats.
4.00pm - Toasted G/W free cheese and tomato sandwich.
A tiny satsuma and a kiwi fruit for afters.
We were a bit naughty tonight and decided to get a take out pizza which we ate at 7.45pm...yes I know, not exactly health food. I had a 7" mushroom, chicken and garlic pizza (though the dough wasn't properly cooked so I ended up eating the topping and leaving most of base...only eating the very bottom layer which was crispy. We also shared a portion of curly fries and a slice of Mars Attacks cake (chocolate cake layered with choc and caramel filling...naughty but very nice).
So there you have it...not a great day food wise and I doubt the 3 hours cleaning will have counter acted the food intake...but hey, it is weigh day so I gave myself a break. Of course it is probably all these breaks I give myself and the days off which is scuppering my weight loss...so I really should cut it out and get serious. I have set myself a goal of losing 1lb a week, I have a graph which I fill in every week and up until now I have been ahead of my goal...today I fell 1lb behind, I need to get back on track. So I have bought no really unhealthy food for the weekend...I have however got things for our main meals over the weekend which I shouldn't really be eating if I was sticking strictly to my healthy eating plan. Still I figure that as I haven't bought naughty snacking foods hopefully in the grand scheme of things my intake won't be too bad.
We shall see at next weeks weigh in I guess.
I am hoping that the weather is going to be nice tomorrow as I plan to get out into the garden. I have big plans to grow lots of veggies this year and I need to get the areas where I am going to grow them sorted out. I will keep you updated on how all this green fingered (hopefully) scheme goes ;-)
