Friday 21st March - Weigh Day :-D

Up at 7.30am

Weigh day and I lost 3lb! I am so pleased (I was grinning like a Cheshire Cat) and it is good to know that me sticking (pretty much) to the healthy eating during the week, drinking enough water and doing the gardening have paid off. I am now ahead of my weight loss goals on my chart...which is good, now I just need to try and keep up the good work. :-)

I confess I went back to bed for a while after the weigh in to celebrate...lol

Up again at 9.30am
Stripped off the bedding, turned the mattress and got on with washing the bedding.
I went out and did a little bit in the garden, stained another plank and started dismantling a couple of sleepers that were nailed together to use for the edging.

I had put the washing on the line, but just after 1pm it started raining/hailing and I ran out to get it in...the Tesco grocery arrived at the same time and then just as I got back in Paul phoned. Epp! Everything happening at once...lol

Anyway the groceries were all ok, but the delivery lady thought one of the milks might have leaked...so I was checking them and managed to drop one (4 pint) on the floor...it was leaking then! Luckily the delivery lady refunded me for it, but I still had all the cleaning up to do (still the floor was due a good clean so not to worry.

3.00pm - 2 bacon, 1 egg, 4 cherry tomatoes and 4 x mushrooms.

Paul came home and I went out to the kitchen and made dinner. I am going to try and cook more things from scratch so started tonight with a quiche. It came out rather nice if I do say so myself (and Bruce and Marcia loved the two little ones I took next door).

8.15pm - Quarter of quiche (bacon, onion, cheese and mushroom), home made coleslaw and home made potato salad.

Paul is going to warm us up a bit of apple pie and custard later.

I will be having a few little treats over the weekend, but nothing too extreme...I don't want to ruin the good work I have done this week.
