It's been a while...

Ok, so I've been away for quite a while...what with the holiday in Italy (note: regardless of doing lots of walking up mountains, getting puffed out and drinking lots of water I still managed to put on a little weight...must have been the daily gelato and  yummy Italian dinners.) After that I had a very busy week in the lead up to my stall at the Whitby Kustom car show, and I am notoriously bad at eating properly when I am really busy. After that I had a what I thought would be a quieter week, but in the end with a few surprise cake orders coming in, plus my regular jobs and a couple of car show/club related meetings made it a rather busy week instead. Then Paul and I had a nice weekend break in a hotel in Ikley, food of course ended up a feature of our time away.
So here we are at the beginning of a new week, it should be an actual quiet week this time giving me no excuse to not stick to eating healthily and making food from scratch as well as ensuring I get some exercise. Mind you it will take a while for me to get into the swing of it again, but I will give it my best shot. So anyway, I will try and make sure I keep this blog up to date.

Up at 8.00am

10.30am - Natural yoghurt, 80g strawberries, 25g Scott's old fashioned oats and 10g honey.

2.30pm (ish) - Two eggs, scrambled up with mushrooms, onion, some olives, and little chopped fennel bulb (both items that I tried for the first time in Italy), garlic puree and some half fat cheddar cheese.

A hobnob whilst cooking dinner.
7.30pm - Chicken breast (skinless), some new potatoes baked in the oven with some seasoning and a little rapeseed oil and some coleslaw (left over from the weekend).
25g of Prawn Cocktail Pringles (left over from the weekend)

10.00pm - Galaxy hot chocolate (from an individual sachet).

Not too bad food wise, but not much in the way of exercise apart from walking the dog round the garden a few times and seeing to the chickens.
Dentist tomorrow morning, hopefully she will put a little filling in to replace the bit that fell out (hopefully without charging me the full price for it as it is so tiny)...we shall see.
