Tuesday 21st - Day 57



Up at 7am

7.30am – Two seasoned scrambled eggs with a bit of chopped avocado and mixed seeds on top.

12.30pm – Natural yoghurt with chopped banana and raspberries, sprinkled with a tablespoon each of oats and mixed seeds.

2.45pm – Small handful of nuts

Late afternoon I found myself peckish again and ate a few bits of fruit whilst walking the dog round the garden (a cherry, a few blackcurrants, a couple of gooseberries and some raspberries). But when I got in I still felt hungry so thought it better to eat something proper to stop myself from going down the bad snack route.

5.15pm – Half a tin of tuna, with some mature cheddar, a gherkin and some cherry tomatoes all chopped up and mixed in with some mayonnaise.

6.15pm – Found a couple of sweets (1p type sweets) from our trip to Brighton in my shirt pocket whilst emptying them to do the washing…and ate them!

8.15pm – Two homemade venison, redcurrant and rosemary burgers, with some butternut squash ‘chips’ (oven baked with some olive oil) and homemade coleslaw.
A few lychees for afters.

Not a perfect day, some snacking…but mainly healthy stuff.
Perhaps tomorrow I need to up the amount of healthy stuff I eat at each meal to make sure it tides me over?
