Well, I'm back...did you miss me?
The good news is that I had a couple of nice nights away with my Paul...the bad news is that a couple of nights away eating in a hotel and being out of my routine did not help my weight loss. In fact when I weighed on Friday I discovered I had put on 3lbs...which as you can imagine did not make me smile.
On top of that I seem to have caught a cold from Paul (he bought it back from a work colleague and decided to share...how generous eh) and I am feeling rather rough.
Because of this I have decided to give myself a couple more days off from writing this blog.
I will get back on track on Monday...start afresh with renewed vigour. I will not bother documenting what I ate whilst I was away, suffice to say it was not what I should have been eating...but it was nice.
I have also been lacking on the exercise front, but as I am not feeling well I don't think it is a great idea to push myself and possibly put more strain on my body as it fits the germs.
Is this all an excuse not to keep with the plan, possibly...I suppose a little part of my does want a small break from it all. But I do assure (and myself) that this is just a minor blip and I will be back on the right path come Monday!
