It was rather soggy this morning when I got woken up by the cockerel at 6am (turns out I had forgotten to lock him up last night)...so anyone passing would have found me in the garden (in my PJ's and Paul's work boots) trying to catch him and put him in his house for a bit of peace. Gizmo helped me corner Tom and I finally managed to lock him up and return to bed for a bit of a lie in.
9.00am I got up again, this time not helped by Tom's crowing.
I made up and packed the last few Red Nose auction items, ready to post today.
10am - Breakfast - 2 x bacon, 1 x egg and 3 x mushrooms (I was out of tomatoes)
Then we headed off to Ikea as I needed to buy more glasses for engraving. It is not Paul's favourite place (understatement!) but he was pretty good and didn't moan too much.
Eating schedule was put out a bit today, due to being out and about.
1.40pm - Snack - Cinnamon ring doughnut from Ikea, eaten on the way home - It was supposed to be to share with Paul but he decided after one bite, just under a quarter of it, he decided he really wasn't keen on cinnamon. So I finished it!
When I got home I put the bits we had bought away and had to wait for Tesco to delivery our groceries...they took quite a while to arrive.
4.20pm - Late lunch - Ham and home made coleslaw sandwich made with wholemeal bread with a little butter on.
8.00pm - Supper - Barbecue chicken pasta with peas and sweetcorn
Creme Brulee with raspberries for afters.
