So it is the second weigh in day of this journey and here are the results...
I have lost 1lb, which is not spectacular compared to last week...but is of course a much more sustainable rate for weight loss. Although the weight loss isn't amazing, the measurements reveal a better result...I have lost 7cms in total (over all my measurements...bust, waist, hips, bum and thigh. The best result of those was 4cms lost from my waist...I did notice that I was able to buckle my belt tighter as the week went on, which is great.
I got up at 7.30am for the weigh in, then had breakfast and headed off with my cake cargo to go to my cleaning job (also the lady who has a regular order of cakes from me). So my exercise today was 3 hours of housework.
1.45pm - Lunch - 1 can of chunky chicken soup which I had left in the cupboard so I thought I would use it up.
6.00pm - Supper - Quorn mince in Tomato and Marscapone sauce (with added peas and sweetcorn) and whole wheat pasta. (I am intending to stay away from too much wheat produce, but we have a packet of this in the cupboard and do hate waste.)
Strawberries, raspberries, oats and yoghurt for afters.
So, variations from the detox diet today will have been...
chicken soup (as it wasn't home made and contained potatoes)
whole wheat pasta
some strawberries and raspberries
oats
I found this recipe which I might try for when I want a treat after a meal but don't want to be too naughty, they sound yummy...:-)
