Monday...back to being busy, busy!

Up at 7.30am, made Paul's pack lunch and something for my lunch too.
8.00am - Breakfast - 2 bacon, 1 egg and 4 cherry tomatoes
Then off to the farm for 9.00am

Spent most of the morning mucking out pens as they had all been full over the weekend, lots of new lambs brought into the world. Eleven pens to clean (got to see a couple more lambs being born in between doing them), I got eight done before lunch as I had to stop and feed the six hungry lambs that are now being hand fed.

12.00am - Lunch - Chopped up ham, cucumber, carrot, cabbage, onion, beetroot, tomato and green pepper, mixed up with natural yoghurt and mustard. A pot with some raspberries, strawberries and natural yoghurt.

After lunch there were the rest of the pens to clean out, then back home. I had to add some extra height to the fences either side of the garden where the cockerel is now living as he had already decided to fly over to the part of the garden that Gizmo uses...my father-in-law wrangled him back whilst I was out. He fly over again when I was working out there, which excited Gizmo no end and he promptly chased Tom around the garden and back into his own side.

Once the garden was the chicken equivalent of Wormwood Scrubs I came in and ran a bath to clean the sheep smell off and relax a bit (slightly aching after all that shovelling!).
Then it was time to start supper.

7.30pm - Supper - Roast chicken breast, a few new potatoes (par boiled then baked with a little butter, garlic and herbs on) with peas and sweetcorn.
Berries and yoghurt for afters.

It is just gone 8.30pm now and I am rather tired...I won't be late to bed tonight for sure!

Opps! I forgot to mention that I had two of the oaty crisp biscuits and a large plum when I got back in after sorting the fence in the back garden. I don't want to keep anything from this blog...which has sort of become my confessional and I have resisted naughty foods a couple of times because I knew if I ate them I would have to confess them. ;-)
