Up at 7.30am to make Paul's sandwiches then back to bed for a bit of a lie-in and snuggle with the dog.
9.15am Up again for good this time.
Let the cockerel out and fed him.
Stripped the sheets of the bed and got them in the washing machine...hopefully I will remember to get them washed, dried and back on the bed before bedtime. Or perhaps it is just me who has a tendency to forget it is bed change day and wander of to bed and bedtime only to find I need to make the darn thing before I can hit the hay??
30 mins exercise. This morning I concentrated on my thighs, stomach and arms...leg lifts, stomach crunches, half push ups (I can't do a full legs extended push up yet, so I do ones whilst resting on my knees rather than toes) etc. Not quite as vigorous as my steps, but hopefully helpful towards trying to tone my wobbly bits.
10.15am - Breakfast - 2 x bacon, 1 x egg and 4 x cherry tomatoes (how did you guess?? ;-) )
Dip in the bath and on with the rest of the day.
I have 3 tankards I need to engrave this week, so they will be first on the job list, though I am going to bring the engraver in from the workshop as it is too darn cold to be out there today. I'm bored of snow now...I hope Mother Nature sees fit to bring on Spring soon!
Not quite sure where the afternoon went...but all of a sudden it was 2.45pm and I realised that I hadn't eaten...whoops!
3.00pm - Lunch - Big bowl of home made coleslaw made with natural yoghurt dressing (yoghurt, garlic and mustard...rather nice actually) with a couple of slices of ham and some beetroot chopped up and mixed in. Lots of it and it really filled me up...
Engraved one of the three glasses that I needed to do...they are rather fiddly though and I am leaving the others until tomorrow as my eyes have gone a bit squiffy now.
Alas I didn't stay full up and by 5.45pm my stomach was starting to rumble, so I had a 'Naked Cocoa Orange' bar (which I had bought a while back but not got round to eating). It is supposed to be quite a healthy snack, but tastes a bit naughty (dates, cashews, raisins, cocoa and natural flavouring). That should keep me going until supper time.
7.45pm - Supper - Roast chicken, baked new potatoes with garlic and herbs and a little butter, peas and sweetcorn.
Berries, natural yoghurt and oats for afters.
Oh, and I had the other 25g of my crisps from yesterday...well, they wouldn't have stayed fresh much longer. ;-)
