Last day on the farm

Up at 7.30am again, made Paul's sandwiches. I had my breakfast at 8.30 then headed off to the farm for 9am.

Did the usual herding, mucking out and feeding the lambs (a little more organised this time as I had a separate pen to put the lambs in after feeding, which meant a rather more calm experience).
But today was my last day on the farm as my help isn't needed any more, as the ewes are slowing down their lambing now. It was sad leaving for the last time, but I can always pop over to check how the lambs are doing if I want.

Came home about 12pm and had a bath, deciding to wait and have my lunch later to avoid the urge to snack.

2.30pm - Lunch - Ham, onion, pepper and mushroom omelette, with a large plum and 3 x oaty crisp biscuits for afters.

7.30pm - Supper - Bacon steak with root veg mash, peas and sweetcorn.
Berries and natural yoghurt for afters.

So today's naughty eat was the three oaty biscuits.

Tomorrow I have a dentist appointment, the first of two for root canal treatment...I am not looking forward to it of course and may just have to get myself a little treat on the way home to make myself feel better...;-)
