9.00am - Breakfast - 2 x bacon, 1 x egg and cherry tomatoes
Challenges...
Crunches - Rest Day
Squats - Rest Day
45secs - Plank (this wasn't any easier than yesterday...tomorrow it is supposed to be 60 sec, I am doubtful that I can do it but I will give it a go.)
My friend Barry came round to look at the car at 10.00am and was here until just after 1.00pm.
We didn't actually do much to the car, but worked out a plan of what needs to be done and he gave it a check over to ensure all the levels (brake and clutch fluid, oil etc).
1.30pm - Natural yoghurt, chopped up nectarine and banana plus oats.
Come 6.30pm I was feeling really hungry and had a packet of dried pineapple (small, child snack size) and one hobnob.
I was feeling very tempted to open the other box of chocolates that are in the cupboard from Christmas (we had lots of choccies bought for us this year), but managed to resist and made dinner.
However I did end up eating a crust of 50/50 bread with a bit of butter on (so much for not having wheat this week...still, I will start again tomorrow with that).
7.45pm - Dinner - It was going to be an omelette, but I had too much solid stuff (chicken, onion and mushrooms) and not enough eggs...so it ended up being an eggy stir fry. Still tasty though.
Dinner filled me up, but come 8.45pm I started getting real cravings for the chocolates again...just knowing they are in there and I could have them. It sounds terrible but I am finding it really hard to resist the urge to dive in and scoff them.
Instead I have made myself a hot chocolate, an orange bubble one...not low cal or anything, but preferable to ripping off that chocolate box wrapping.
I know if I resist it will be easier next time I get the urge, but I am feeling a bit low at the moment (withdrawal symptoms?).
So all in all not a fab day, lacking in exercise as having Barry come round fairly early meant I didn't exercise this morning. I managed to resist the object of my temptation, but instead had a few other things that I wouldn't have planned to eat. But not to worry, this is all a learning curve. I think eating breakfast early means that by the time Paul comes home and we have dinner I am too hungry.
I think tomorrow I will go back to having 'brunch' later and hopefully that will improve matters later in the day.
