Up at 7.30am
Weighed and have lost 1lb. Now this means that I am 1lb over the goal I set myself for this week (I charted out a very achievable weight loss that I wanted to get to, which was 1lb every two weeks), I have had a few weeks where I have done very well...but others where I have let things slide and my weight has gone up again. This has made me decide to really knuckle down and be more strict about what and when I eat. So starting on Monday I am going to ban myself from those naughty foods which have been my downfall until August 23rd (when I have friends coming to visit), so that is no more biscuits, cake, crisps, chocolate, sweets and fizzy pop for five weeks.
Instead I am going to make sure I eat plenty of vegetables, fruit, home made meals and drink lots of water and to help me do that I will be doing a five day detox which should help me not to crave those items.
Fingers crossed this will kick start my weight loss again and get me back on track.
I am not going to give up on getting to where I want to be health and weight wise, I am going to achieve the goals I have set for myself.
In view of the above I am cutting myself some slack today and for the weekend before the big crack down.
So back to what else happened today...
8.30am - Breakfast - 2 x bacon, 1 x egg and 4 x tomatoes
9.00am - Off to do my cleaning job...that was my main exercise today, three hours of dusting. polishing and hoovering in a very warm house.
1.00pm - Small slice of treacle tart and a scoop of blackcurrant ice cream
4.00pm - Lunch - Small fairy cake with water icing and a cherry on top.
Then some natural yogurt, mixed berries and a few prunes with oats on top.
I did my 70 squats this afternoon (it was a rest day yesterday).
8.30pm - Supper - One pork steak, one piece of southern fried chicken breast, a few chips plus some oven baked vegetables (mushrooms, pepper, onions and tomatoes)
A cream and jam finger doughnut for afters.
Right, as I am relaxing on what I eat over the weekend I will not be filling in the food on the blog for the next two days, though I may post to let you know what we get up to.
Tomorrow is our 10km charity walk for Marie Curie Cancer Care...thanks to all of you who have sponsored us! Looks like it should be a bit cooler tomorrow, it certainly will be by 7pm which is when we start the walk. :-)
