Well, we got back home late last night after the sponsored walk...tired but contented that we had done something good (and had exercise too as a bonus!).
We finished the 10km (about six miles) in 2hrs and 15mins, I had aching feet but wasn't feeling as bad as I thought I might. Another sponsored walk is definitely something we will look into doing again next year, though possibly for another cause.
As an extra bonus the t-shirt they sent me was a large and it fitted quite nicely (I have been wearing XL for the last few years) I pulled it to stretch the bottom just a bit (so it wasn't too tight around my hips) but apart from that it was good.
Today I got up at 7.30am and had some breakfast before heading to the car boot sale down the road with my in-laws (left Paul snoring in bed). Had a couple of hours walking around and buying lots of nice bits and pieces (good job I don't go more often though as I would have no more room left in my house!).
When I got home I decided to start emptying the 'pool' large blue tank/container that we filled up on Friday (see it is my fault the sun has disappeared!) and thought it would be a good idea to use the water to put on the plants, so I proceeded to spend about 30mins carrying a full large watering can around delivering watery goodness to various plants and my trees.
Then I decided my roses needed dead heading, then thought I might as well do the in-laws roses too...meaning I spent at least an hour altogether pottering around in the garden.
After that I came back inside to get something to eat (not telling you what as food is guilt free this weekend), but did my 80 squats before tucking in. It is a rest day for squats tomorrow...just as well really as my thighs are feeling it!
Right, the rest of the day will be just a lazy day...doing whatever I fancy...which is probably going to be some computer gaming, then reading my book in a deep bubble bath, followed by watching some TV with Paul and the dog whilst eating tea...there will be scones with jam and cream :-)
Hope you have had a good weekend! x
