Monday 29th July

Up at  12.15pm
I know...shocking right! But the thing is I felt really drained when I woke up, so I went back to sleep and let body wake up when it wanted to. I felt much better when I woke up the second time, got up and did my squats for the day.

140 squats done almost all in one go (with only two 30 second breaks for stretching along the way) they must be working their magic as there is no way I could have managed even half that when I started out. I do admit that perhaps I still don't squat down quite as far as some fitter types would do...but that said I still feel the burn in my muscles, but without any strain on my back and knees which is as it should be. So whether I have perfect form or not doesn't make much difference as long as I am not harming myself and am feeling the benefits.

12.45pm - Brunch - Chopped banana, natural yoghurt and oats.

7.00pm - Supper - I started with a tiny slice of pizza (father-in-law sent half a pineapple and ham one over...the piece I had was about 1.5inches at the crust tapering to a point)
Then 2 x bacon, 1 x egg, 3 x large cherry tomatoes, 2 x medium mushrooms and some mushy peas.
A few strawberries from the garden (on their own) for afters.

Not too bad a day, although my eating pattern was messed up due to the lie in this morning, only the squats for exercise today...but pretty good on the food side apart from the pizza, though that is only because I am trying to stay off flour products.
