I was up later than normal, but this was actually by design (honest) because I am going out for dinner with my in-laws at lunchtime (12.00pm) which means I either had to get up extra early exercise and have my breakfast by around 8am...so that I can keep my 4ish hours between meals. However if I did this I would probably be extra hungry and need to slot in another meal, which I didn't want to do so went for the option of getting up later, doing my exercise and then called Lunch, Brunch as I do sometimes.
I always like to exercise before having breakfast as I have been told it helps kick start your metabolism...of course it is easy for me to be able to do that as I don't have much in the way of commitment. If I had a job to go to I doubt I would have the will power to get up so much earlier to exercise before the days work.
Anyway, back to today's schedule...
Wii Fit - 32 mins - 4 x basic steps (3 perfect!) plus 20mins free steps at the medium speed because my legs are still a little worn from the squats yesterday...hence to lower step count as this week has all been on the highest speed (1826 steps)
I also did 40 of today's 110 squats and will do the rest at points during the day...glad it is a rest day from squats tomorrow!
12.00pm - Brunch - 1 x small slice of roast pork, carrots, cabbage, cauliflower and gravy (I was good and had no potatoes, I also gave my Yorkshire pudding away to Bruce).
Went into Selby after lunch to pay some money and cheques into the bank for Paul and I. I did a little wandering around the shops and was very pleased with myself that I didn't buy anything I shouldn't have. I did buy a packet of crisps, but that was some new out barbecue flavour ones for Paul. But for myself I only bought some peaches, raspberries, cherry tomatoes and some Greek yoghurt.
I came home and ordered some jewellery making components, I normally make them in silver but wanted some bronze bits for a change.
4.00pm -Late Lunch - A chopped peach, raspberries and natural yoghurt with handful of oats mixed in.
Did another 40 squats...30 to go but will do those later...still feeling the burn!
I can't believe where the time has gone and I am now heading off to get the fly netting I bought from Ebay the other day finally put up on the back door (possibly the front door and windows too...if time allows).
Windows and doors now safely netted to keep the flying beasties out, glad to have got that done.
I did the last 30 squats bringing the total for today to the required 110...and oddly enough my legs aren't feeling to bad unlike yesterday. Rest day tomorrow with regard to squats.
8.30pm - Supper - Small cold roast chicken breast, home made coleslaw (made with mayonnaise), some cucumber and cherry tomatoes.
Some strawberries, raspberries and natural yoghurt, though I was feeling full half way through the eating this so decided I had had enough. Much as I hate to waste food, I also don't want to eat more than I need to so I have thrown the rest away (Paul doesn't like yoghurt) and tomorrow I won't get a desert ready before I have finished dinner...that way if I am feeling quite full like I was tonight I won't feel I should eat anything else.
