Wednesday 17th July

Up at 8.00am
Checked e-mails etc before my internet lock kicked in (I am trying to keep off there during business hours to try and make sure I get more done, but it isn't always working).

Wii Fit - 30mins free steps on middle speed (2699 steps)
I also did some squats. I have taken up the 30 day squat challenge, which is supposed to work wonders on your butt and thighs. I am on day 3 now, I didn't mention it earlier as I am always afraid of not following through and letting myself and you lot down...but I think I can do it, so now you know ;-)
So Monday was 50 squats, Tuesday was 55 and today I did 60. The rest of the plan is below...



 Now I know I am not doing these squats as deep as more athletic folks probably do...but I figure that as long as I am not doing them in a way that will hurt my body then it should only help. It seems that it's acceptable to do the squats in groups as they get larger in number...so for 100 I could do 50 then do another 50 later in the day etc. So far I have done them all in one go...but as I say I am not dipping down as far as I perhaps should...but again I feel something is better than nothing, I will let you know how it goes.

10.30am - Breakfast - 2 x bacon, 1 x egg, 4 x cherry tomatoes

Washed my hair and had a dip in the bath, then on with mission 'Clean and tidy the kitchen' I am determined to properly finish this mission today...so that perhaps tomorrow I can start my baking actually in the morning instead of doing a morning of cleaning before I can get busy.

3.30pm - Lunch - A thick slice of lean ham, cucumber, radishes, some yellow pepper, spring onion, cherry tomatoes and some beetroot.
Natural yoghurt, prunes and oats for afters.
I was a bit naughty as I was eating this whilst doing other jobs at my desk...so it is gone 4.05pm and I am still finishing the salad! I confess that my enthusiasm for salad if not great (especially if it doesn't have cheese or other temptations in it) but I am really trying to stick to the 'programme' today, so will finish it.

6.30pm - A banana (I was heading off to car club and as I ate lunch a bit later than I should have I wasn't hungry enough to ate too much).

10.00pm - Small piece of cold roast chicken breast and a Magnum mini kiss ice cream.

Tomorrow I really must make a better effort not to forget about eating and keep my meal times more evenly spaced.
