Monday 22nd July - A re-newed effort!

Well, today didn't start quite as I planned.
I had meant to get up early, I did actually get up at 7.30am and made Paul's sandwiches (first time in ages as he has been making his own for a while) but I felt so tired that I went back to bed again.
I didn't set my alarm deciding that I because it had been such a busy weekend that I would just let myself just wake up naturally. This turned out to be at 11.00am and I got up feeling a lot more refreshed. I need to try and work out how much sleep I actually need, then make sure I go to bed at a time that means when Paul has to get up I can get up feeling refreshed and ready to go.

Anyway, once I was up it was time to do my exercise for the day...
Wii Fit - 32 mins - 4 x basic steps (1 perfect) plus 20mins free steps (1996 steps)

12.30pm - Brunch - A small pot of natural yoghurt with a chopped up banana and large oats.

Now I know I had said I would start my detox today, but alas with our busy weekend I forgot to plan properly and as a consequence I (once again) didn't defrost the bacon. Hence the yoghurt, banana and oats...of course I said I wasn't going to have fruit for the five day fast, but again lack of proper planning kicked in and I bought six bananas. So I am going to keep to my no crisps, biscuits etc, etc...but I am not going to do the full on five day detox this week.
I will see how this week goes and depending on the results on Friday and how I feel in myself, then perhaps I will do the detox if I feel I need to (say for example I start craving the foods I am cutting out as I found the detox helped with that).

I had a quick dip in the bath, then got on with the rest of the day. I am not going to try to do too much today, but I do want to have a bit of a clean and tidy as not much got done at the weekend.

Ok, cleaning and tidying didn't really happen...but I do have a good excuse as I ended up doing work (a website I was making for someone, paid work and everything...lol). So the house stills needs tidying...*sigh*

4.00pm -  Late Lunch - 2 x bacon, 1 x egg, some orange pepper, mushrooms and cherry tomatoes.
A small Satsuma for afters.

9.00pm - Supper - 2 slices of ham, sweetcorn, peas, tomatoes, radishes, spring onion and some pepper.
