Friday 9th August

Up at 8.15am (a bit later than normal for weigh day as Paul has the day off so we are out of the normal routine today).

So the weigh in results for today are that I have lost 3lb!
I am so pleased that things are continuing to go in the right direction which means I am over a third of the way to my preliminary weight goal of 11 stone. My 'ideal' weight is actually 9 and a half stone, but I thought I would set my goal at 11 and then see how I felt/looked then...if I want to lose a little more from there I can.

Time to do my exercises now, I will report back later...
Wii Fit - 31 mins - 2 x basic steps (both perfect), 5 x advanced steps
Planning to do my squats later in 4 x 45 squat batches...making today's total 225.

11.00am - Brunch - 2 x bacon, 1 x egg, 6 x cherry tomatoes and 2 large mushrooms.

4.00pm - Late Lunch - Greek yoghurt, chopped banana, raspberries, a few chopped strawberries and oats.

This evening Paul and I went to give blood (his first time, but I have given before). Turns out he is a bit of a gusher and filled his bag in no time...mine took longer, I like to think mind is just that much richer...lol
Of course after you give blood they give you some squash and biscuits. Now I did consider not having the biscuits, but well...you are supposed to right? Anyway, I had a three pack of bourbons...so broke my self imposed ban on biscuits and chocolate (flavouring anyway), but I think it is worth it.

8.00pm - Supper - A piece of battered cod, some potato wedges and mushy peas.
For afters I had a creme brulee with some blueberries and strawberries on the side.
So it was a pretty good day, but I have just realised that I didn't do my squats for the day. Now they told me after I had given blood not to do strenuous exercise and even though I don't think it would probably hurt me I feel I should follow the instructions given...so my 30 day challenge will end up a 31 day challenge (either that or I will miss out my last rest day and consider today that).

Anyway, I am tired now so heading off to bed.
