Saturday 3rd August - Bakewell!

Up at 8.15am

Wii Fit - 40 mins - basic steps (1 perfect) plus 2 x advanced steps which have always been my nemesis before and I have avoided them, but I made a new mini mii to use on the Wii Fit to sybolise my new determination to really follow through on this fitness journey...sadly this means I have to go through unlocking all the activities again. Still one more go at advanced steps and free steps will open up again...might even do more advanced steps now that I know I can do it without tripping over my own feet...lol

A quick dip in the bath, then breakfast...

10.00am - Breakfast - 2 x bacon, 1 x egg, 6 x cherry tomatoes and 2 x large mushrooms

I forgot to mention yesterday, that this weeks weight loss means I have reached the 1 and a half stone lost mark...which I am happy about and it gives me even more incentive to stick to the plan and get fitter :-)

Off out in a bit heading to Bakewell first, then taking a box of stock to my friends new shop in Whaley Bridge, Derbyshire.

We had a lovely time in Bakewell and had lunch there around 1pm. I had a bacon and brie melt with cranberry sauce, coleslaw and salad, accompanied by a glass of water.
We bought a bakewell pudding to have later, then headed to my friends place.

Wow, her house is lovely. It was a bank once and has wonderful dark wood panelling (though she doesn't like dark wood so is going to paint it), lots of room over three floors and next to a bridge with a small river/stream running past. Her shop is actually the front part of her living room, which was actually the lobby of the bank...which means she only has to go a few steps to be at work. Of course it also means she doesn't have to pay separate rent for the shop which is a bonus! I have to admit that I feel inspired having spoken to her and seen what she is up to...I hope that inspiration lasts the weekend and I get myself down to the workshop next week!

Supper (can't remember exactly what time this evening) - We had some turkey, pork and stuffing pice (called Hunter Pie...in the style of a pork pie) with coleslaw, tomato and cucumber.
For afters I had bakewell pudding (the only pie type dessert that will pass my lips until the end of August, but you have to after going to Bakewell...right? ;-) ) with strawberries on the side and a littel double cream....yummy!

That's all for tonight, off to a country show tomorrow...but will do my exercises in the morning as normal.
