I also did my quota of squats for the day, in 5 x 45 squat batches...making today's total 225.
11.00am - Breakfast - Melon, pineapple and kiwi fruit
I was supposed to be having something to eat in the afternoon, but some of Paul's friends who were due to come and visit on Sunday phoned to say they would be coming today in an hour and a half's time. So we sprang into action and rushed through the place tidying and hoovering!
Spent a nice couple of hours with them...in the garden (so there was no need to do the house after all, but it is a good done to have done), but by the time they left there was only just over an hour before we were due to go out for the evening (for a meal) so no time to fit in some extra food.
7.30pm - Supper out - I had chicken pate and Melba toast for my starter which was nice (but not as nice as my pate...hmm, am I allowed to say that?).
For my main I had pizza with chicken, garlic, caramelised onion and mozzarella for the topping.
It was a whole plate sized pizza bit I left the crust and two whole slices (we bought the slices home for Paul for tomorrow's lunch).
Then we went to the pub for a drink with the birthday boys and the other friends who had been at the meal (it was a friend of Paul's 40th). I stuck to drinking water with ice and lemon all night, no alcohol or pop.
10.45pm - As I hadn't had a dessert whilst out I decided to have a single scoop of Carte D'or salted caramel ice cream when I got home.
