Sunday 4th August

Up at 10am
My alarm went off at 8am and I am so annoyed that I didn't get up then, I had felt fairly awake...but turned off the alarm and thought 'I will just lay here for a few minutes' then of course fell asleep again. So when I actually got up I was feeling really groggy, all my own fault I know and maybe one day I will learn the lesson to stay up when I wake up..:-/

I am seriously wondering if eating the bread roll and bakewell pudding yesterday had an adverse effect on me (possibly the wheat.flour element to them), as I felt very sluggish yesterday afternoon and today when I weighed (which I do morning and night just to keep an eye and notice changes, hence why I think what I ate my have effected me) and I was a bit up on what I had been.
Perhaps it was also partly because I didn't drink as much yesterday as I have been recently.
It is difficult to tell, but all I know is that whereas I have been feeling great, last night I felt rather bloated. I guess I will have to have another few weeks avoiding wheat and try some, then I will be able to see if it really does effect me.

Anyway, we were planning on going to a country show this afternoon, but the weather looked like it might go down hill during the day so we changed our minds and went around 11.00am. As I had planned to do my exercise and then eat I hadn't done either so I grabbed a banana on the way out and decided I would do at least my squats for the day when we got home.

Arrived home after a lovely day out at just gone 5.30pm.
Whilst out I had a pork roll (nice slow cooked pork with some stewed apple and sauce), though I only ate the pork and apple and left the bread roll. Then later I had a single scope ice cream cone (no flake of course). I was tempted by the home made cakes, but managed to resist I'm pleased to say.

So now I am going to do some washing up and tidy the kitchen a bit whilst doing 4 sets of 45 squats in between.
Supper tonight will be...
A piece of battered fish, some skin on potato wedges and mushy peas.
Strawberries, peach and cream for afters...yummy! :-)
