Friday 12th - Day Eighteen - Third Weigh day!

Up at 6.50am

Weigh day today and I have lost another 2½lbs! Really happy with that, not as much as previous weeks but it is a more sensible weight loss amount for a week so it will do for me. I am wondering if the increase in fruit that I have eaten this week may be the reason as whilst being generally good in terms of nutrients they also have lots of sugar. It will be interesting to see how next weeks weigh in goes.

Let chickens out and made Paul’s lunch and cooked breakfast

8.00am – Half rasher of bacon (thought there were two in the pack, but turns out it was just one but a bit thicker than normal), two boiled eggs, four cherry tomatoes and a medium mushroom.

Did my daily exercise challenges as follows…
Squats - 110, Stomach Crunches - 70, Bottom lifts – rest day and Leg lifts 50
Feeling the burn!

9.30am - Heading out to hang out a load of washing, then into the poly tunnel, lots of pepper plants to put in the ground…plus maybe some tomato plants before it gets too hot.

Ok, so I didn’t end up going out to the poly tunnel, and in fact I have only just hung out the washing…opps! I would like to point out that I wasn’t just wasting my time, I was in fact working…making a website for someone. However of course now it is too hot to go out and do any planting in the poly tunnel, so the plants will have to wait until tomorrow (apparently it is going to be horrid weather and rain most of the day). Anyway, I have just realised that I am feeling really hungry so after snaffling a chestnut flour honey and seed biscuit from the tin (they are still nice and fresh surprisingly) I think I should go and get something proper to eat.

1.45pm – Chestnut flour honey and seed biscuit (as mentioned above)
Natural yoghurt, some mango and a tablespoon each of oats and mixed seeds.

5.00pm – Handful of mixed nuts and some white grapes

Went to give blood tonight, nearly ate a chocolate club biscuit…but didn’t as I had taken along a couple of chestnut honey and seed biscuit so I resisted the club and had those instead. On the way home bought some nice pork, apple and cider sausages (gluten free) as I decided it would be a bit late to cook the coconut pizza base with toppings that I had planned to make.

8.45pm – Two and a half sausages (mentioned above) on a bed of curly kale with a large tablespoon of mashed potato.
Was planning to have a fresh fig or something else fruity for dessert, but am feeling full so won’t bother.
