Up at 6.45am
7.20am – Two boiled eggs, one rasher of bacon, two mushrooms
and three cherry tomatoes
12.15pm – 8 nuts (one of each in my jar of mixed nuts right
now…cashew, macadamia, hazelnut, pistachio, brazil, pecan, walnut and almond)
plus a small chestnut flour ‘scone’ (I write the word scone like that because
today they seem more like a muffin).
3.00pm – Natural yoghurt and half a mango with a teaspoon of
honey drizzled on, then a tablespoon each of unsweetened desiccated coconut and
mixed seeds sprinkled on top.
A few nuts whilst preparing dinner and then…
7.50pm – A lamb stew made with left over roast lamb from
yesterday, onions, carrots and mushrooms (with a little red wine, garlic and
herbs) served on a bed of curly kale with a little butternut squash on the
side.
I have started the squat challenge and the crunch challenge
and I have completed the first day of those today.
Plus 25 bottom lifts (same
position as a crunch but lift bottom off ground clenching bottom and stomach
muscles – this was recommended by the physio to help my back pain) and 20 leg
lifts (lie on my side and lift top leg up and down slowly and controlled, then
place that foot on the floor with leg bent and lift the lower leg. Got this exercise
from Mr Motivator…remember him? It is good for the thigh, both outer and inner.
Then change sides and go again).
So that is my exercise for today, and I will be repeating most days (rest days are built in) gradually increasing the amounts each day.
