Sunday 14th - Day Twenty

Something weird happened last night. I weighed as I always do (morning and night to see how my weight fluctuates) and I had gone up 5lbs since the morning! I am not sure why, but wonder if it could be something to do with me eating a bit of cake (off cuts whilst I was decorating the cake yesterday) and not drinking as much water. I can’t think of any other reason…so it will be interesting to see how quickly it goes. The only way I will be able to know for sure is to go back to the healthy eating and try some wheat product again at a later point and see if the same thing happens?

Up at 8.40am
Realised that I didn’t do my exercise challenges yesterday due to being pre-occupied with the cake decorating probably so did them this morning…meaning the everything will move on a day again.

Squats – Rest Day, Stomach Crunches – Rest Day, Bottom lifts – 80 and Leg Lifts – 55

Planted the rest of the pepper plants in the poly tunnel, now there are only really the tomato plants that need to go in, but there are a lot of them!

1.30pm – Baked chicken breast on a bed of curly kale with some home made coleslaw on the side.

Off to Harry’s birthday party this afternoon, they are having a barbeque and I will be sticking to just the meat and some salad I expect…

Ok, so whilst at the party I ate two pork, honey and mustard burgers that I made and took along (no bun of course) with a little coleslaw and lettuce. Then I had a piece of flapjack and a few nuts (which I had taken with me).

9.20pm – A bit late for tea, but when I had finally finished doing everything I needed to do tonight I ate…
A chestnut flour scone with some butter and home made chicken liver pate on.
Some Greek yoghurt with black cherries and a little melted 75% dark chocolate mixed in.
And lastly I shared a bag of Salt and Vinegar Kettlechips with Paul.
So not a super great weekend foodwise, so I need to get right back on the straight and narrow tomorrow and the rest of the week to try and make sure the weight loss continues well.
