Monday - Warding off failure! - Day Twenty One



Up at 7.30am

Planted some of my tomato plants in the poly tunnel.

10.15am – Two eggs scrambled with some avocado and mixed seeds on top.

2.00pm – Half a packet of pork scratchings (Paul had the rest)

3.30pm – Natural yoghurt, a fresh fig and some mixed seeds and a handful of mixed nuts on the side

Baked cakes for the two tier naming day cake and little cakes to go with it this afternoon.

6.00pm – Ate half a park of vegetable crisps

8.00pm – Three thin pork, honey and mustard burgers (from yesterday, they didn’t all get cooked and used so they were sent back to us), a few skin on potato chips and some home made coleslaw.

Did my exercise challenges tonight...
Squats - 130, Stomach Crunches - 80, Bottom lifts - 90 and Leg lifts - Rest day

So tempted to have some of one of the Toblerones that were sent to me from Switzerland (from Paul’s brother and sister-in-law) but I realise this is probably because I had the bit of cake on Saturday and the flapjack on Sunday. The sugar demons have got their claws into me again and are tempting me to have more. My mood is quite down as well and coupled with the weight gain I realise this is the time when I could quite easily (and have done in the past) decide to start again another day...I have already eaten things I shouldn't have and didn't need (scratchings and veg crisps) but it could be so much worse if I gave in. Determined not to let this happen though, so I am going to do a fast tomorrow…get all the bad stuff out of my system and get back on track again.

I am going to be spending most of the week decorating cakes or baking them, so temptation is going to be all around, but if I give into it all my hard work will totally be put back again so fast time it is. Wish me luck! x
